Ek Thi Daayan is an upcoming Bollywood musical thriller film, directed by Kannan Iyer and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj under Balaji Motion Pictures. It stars Emraan Hashmi and Konkona Sen Sharma. The film is is scheduled to be released on 18 April 2013. The film was earlier titled Daayan but later re-titled to Ek Thi Daayan.

According to director Kannan Iyer, leopards entered the sets during shooting. The uninvited guest was later apparently shooed away. The film's trailer was released with Matru Ki Bijli Ka Mandola.

Ek Thi Daayan Trailer Review [HD]
The first trailer of the film was released along with Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola. The trailer received very speculating reviews from the critics as well as caught the eyeballs of the audiences. Within 14 hours of its launch on YouTube, the trailer had 47,174 clicks. The trailer received positive reviews and grabbed the mindsets of the audiences. The second promo was unveiled on the Bigg Boss 6 finale on 12 January 2013, with Emraan Hashmi and the producer Ekta Kapoor visiting the sets to release the trailer.
